I use Windows Vista and the gadgets that have disappeared on the first page?
How can I get them back. there is usually an area line and shade, but now its past. I can not right click on it the option is gone. What should I do. Thank you.
This is a program called StartBar. Click Start, and basically should not be a text field. Type in the sidebar and click on "Sidebar". Give second and are back and running. (This is only to be used if it is executed in the mode of Vista, not in Windows Classic mode with startbar classic.)

open the start menu and type in the search box ‘Sidebar’ and a link to start the windows sidebar should be there

Its a program called StartBar. Go to start, and at the bottom, there should be a text field. Type Sidebar and click "Windows Sidebar". Give it a second and you are back and running.
(This is only to be used if you are running in Vista mode, not Windows Classic mode with Classic startbar.)
