Problem with Radeon in GTA IV?
Ok, so ... I have GTA IV for PC. The problem is that whenever I may take place without smoothly for a few seconds after a complete mismatch for a total not bad ... s jerky, but it seems more an issue of fps? So I turned All graphics and minimal exactly the same thing ... i em crank to the max and a million times better, but does the same thing ... no difference in performance. its gooooooo that laaaaaag goooooo laaaaaag. I know that the card can handle when I see youtube vids of GTA 4 cards like mine and it works great in the lower machines. Here is my AMD Phenom SPECIFICATIONS II X4 Quad Core cpu@2.8 GHz 8 GB RAM DDR 3 @ 12800 1GB Radeon HD 4650 700 Watt PSU DVI Home Premium Windows 7., Who Compatibe with 7 machines I've seen worse and run well ... Can anyone help? all Windows drivers, updates to the game and the video drivers are updated to the latest versions.
This is a beautiful card. But thinking that you have no problem with the card, Ramm, motherboard, power supply, processor, or simply because you have a YouTube is a false analogy. All YouTube videos are in 2D. When you play GTA they do in 3D. Was a good experience to try at least 3D and 3D Max. I surprised that he does not stop at the minimum. This points to a third party application (probably) or hardware (probably not). Based in March, delayed, go, GAL, the problem is not heat. Most likely a memory management problem. Not a problem "not enough "Ramm. The first thing I would do is use a program CPUZ or gadget such as Windows or the Performance tab of Task Manager Ramm and to check my CPU usage during the game. If maxes out at the same time, you know how the problem affects you. Then I woke up task manager and the game simultaneously. Use the Processes tab and deliberately make it do the race, the delay to the lag. Do the same in the "Services" tab. See what changes when we move. Would run the task manager and close all this is not necessary. Search for the word "Vampire" in system applications. Are you using stock drivers? As an experiment, to roll back and see if it assistance in this regard. You can always update again. DirectX11 is probably not a problem, but it would not hurt to charge DX11. After speed of the delay, well, GAL, is the bicycle, which could be related to mobo. Remember that the update is more than just a video slide card into a slot. that has the problem with minimal configuration means that there is a power problem, and it is unlikely that topical issue. Try a vid card friends and see if the same problem occurs. If it stops with the new card, I guess the problem is.
