I have a Vista laptop from last year, and I want to upgrade to Windows 7 mine! The issue is there, after making Window7, laterly and in the future, I want to reinstall the entire system. The Windows 7 or still in my old version view and needs to update again?

If you upgrade to Windows 7, then use the restore manufacturers Notebook / rescue disks to re-install, then you will be back to Vista. Yes, you also have to update again with Windows 7 discs and patches and updates from Microsoft.

Purchased a new laptop that came with 7 home premium 64-bit. However have some programs that worked fine on XP that will not work in 7 hp 64. Microsoft offers a download that will allow older programs to run called XP Mode, but you need 7 pro or ultimate to get XP Mode download. My question is has anyone upgraded 7 home premium to 7 pro and have they encountered any problems? Experience in the past with upgrades is that they can often create problems. Would it be better to get a full copy of 7 pro and do a clean install?

Should I upgrade my system or wait?

I am trying to decide whether or not I should upgrade my system. My System Current is old, does not have audio drivers for Vista (so there is no sound), and will remain as hell when I'm playing Games like Crysis. But I do not want to pay big money for a new single system to become obsolete quickly. So how old is DDR3 RAM? Do you plan problems with driver support and new motherboard that comes with Windows 7? I want to go with an AMD ... AM3 is the best in the industry today, and how long has it been out? If anyone can give me some advice on what you really enjoy it. Thank you.

GPU: NVIDIA GTS 250 for a screen 22 "or NVIDIA GTX295 for a 24" Motherboard: Asus P5Q Deluxe or better power supply: the less than 600 W as the Be Quiet! How often do people upgrade their desktops or laptops?

Technology is obviously outdated and upgraded constantly. How long do most people wait to upgrade. And it seems if you buy low end gear now u have a reason to upgrade sooner compared to high end tech. which should perform nicely longer waiting for mainstream tech. to catch up. This is my current rig. how long do u think i should wait to upgrade:

Why are not my desktop Windows 7 gagets not show?

Changing If you've used a registry cleaning software, some of them actually cause problems of this kind. What I am suggesting is downloding "CCleaner" and run a registry and disk cleaning. This software is safer because it deletes registry entries that are completely safe to delete. This is what we must do to solve the problem: (1) Start Orb ? ? ? In Control Panel Appearance and Personalization "Gadgets" click "Restore gadgets installed with Windows Desktop". I suggest running a registry clean with CCleaner, once you do. (2) If this does not help, gardget to uninstall Windows and reinstall again. Here's how: Start Orb ? ? click Control Panel "Uninstall a program" to "" ? Click on "Programs Windows features on or off the" ? uncheck "Platform Windows Gadget ? OK. After the uninstall is complete and the computer restarts, go back ? ? click OK to activate. This will reinstall it.
