windows 7 gadgets arent getting internet connection?
Ive used the windows 7 gadgets for a long time, and now there starting to just stop, first was the weather, it stopped getting a connection when i had internet, now its Gmail checker, ive tried uninstalling them and reinstalling them, ive tried resetting them, i really dont want to reinstall windows 7 because i dont have the money for that.
is anyone else having this problem?

What is the Recovery (D:) drive and I can get Windows 7 Home Edition?
Two questions: First, I have a HP netbook Mini 210 at Christmas. Red. Never had my own little gadget before, so I'm excited about it. I looked around for fun to see how much RAM you have, etc., and there seems to be much in the recovery (D:) Hard ... 2.4GB 16.6GB other ... What the hell is there much more space? Not much on my netbook yet, as I only had a week ... Second, the netbook comes with Windows 7 Starter Edition. What Starter Edition and how it compares with Windows 7 Home Edition? My netbook enough to keep Windows 7 Home Edition? The Starter Edition seems to have lost much of what I like ...
Your little gadget does not have enough power to run a more demanding operating system to stay simple limitation starter.The Windows 7 you is that you can not run many programs at once (the toy can not even if you can) and you can not customize the menus, as your history of recovery partition for the factory image in case you need to reinstall the operating system ...... it just leave that partition alone.

How can I get my gadgets back on my Windows 7 computer?
I am unable to put my gadgets back on my desktop, because the gadget gallery will not open. I have also tried going into the file folder for them, and dragging it straight out of there, but it tells me that I need administrator permissions to move or edit the file (which I do have), and when I press continue, I am told that it could not do it. Anyone know how I can get gadgets on my desktop agian?
I know this sounds simple but have you tried to click the "show desktop" icon at the far right on the task bar at the bottom of the screen? Had the same problem with W7 when I first tried the gadgets, clicking it hides whatever gadgets you have running, good luck..

Close all gadgets ? ? restart your computer and add it again. See if that helps. Did you use a registry cleaning software? ? ? ? ? ? ? Changing If you've used a registry cleaning software, some of them actually cause problems of this kind. What I am suggesting is downloding "CCleaner" and run a registry and disk cleaning. This software is safer because it deletes registry entries that are completely safe to delete. This is what we must do to solve the problem: (1) Start Orb ? ? ? In Control Panel Appearance and Personalization "Gadgets" click "Restore gadgets installed with Windows Desktop". I suggest running a registry clean with CCleaner, once you do. (2) If this does not help, gardget to uninstall Windows and reinstall again. Here's how: Start Orb ? ? click Control Panel "Uninstall a program" to "" ? Click on "Programs Windows features on or off the" ? uncheck "Platform Windows Gadget ? OK. After the uninstall is complete and the computer restarts, go back ? ? click OK to activate. This will reinstall it.

how do i get different backgrounds and gadgets (such as the clock and little sticky-note pad for my vista 2007?
well we used to have the little gadget bar on the right of the screen that had all the stuff like a clock, the weather, and a little yellow sticky note pad. its gone and i have no idea how to get it back. I also want to get some free safe background downloads so i can have better pictures. can anyone help me? we have a windows vista 2007 computer.
There are several possibilities to get your Windows Sidebar and gadgets back. Since you weren't sure why the Sidebar disappeared in the first place, I'll give you all the links that apply to retrieving the Windows Sidebar and gadgets in case one doesn't work.
