Film SLR - still used today?
On this day of all-digital is someone with more than 35 types of cameras mm SLR? I have two very good units. To be honest, my other digital cameras that take better pictures and self-service kiosks in now stores these days, it is easier just to choose and have been printed. Appearance seems to be the same. Anyone using yet SLR?

What is a good digital single lens reflex camera for a beginner? I don't plan to go professional or anything. I took a university class in photography that had me dealing with my dad's old film SLR and really loved it and got the hang of it..

Retro-crase is completely stupid. Obviously they've never been camera shopping.
You can get an Olympus E-520 with 2 different lenses for under $600. It's an excellent beginner's camera and it comes with a very impressive lens range for the price. The Olympus Evolt cameras are a little noiser than competitors but you can't beat the features for the price and the Zuiko lenses are very nice.
You can get a Rebel XSi for under $600 (only 1 lens). It's the older Rebel model but it's also great for beginners. The noise is excellent, even at ISO 1600 it beats out a lot of other similarly priced cameras.
I don't know much about Nikon but I saw a D-40 at Walmart for under $450 (1 lens) . It's not as impressive as the previous two I mentioned but Nikon is a top-notch brand.
Remember: Refurbished means it has to work exactly like new. You can save a lot of money by buying a refurbished camera and it will be every bit as good as a new one out of the box. Refurbished does not mean used or old; it just means it was returned for one reason or another and has been brought up to proper specs to be sold again.

Sidebar Gadgets Windows 7 stops responding?
I have Home Premium 64-bit Windows 7 and after a few hours my Windows Sidebar and appears to stop answer dialog to end up saying or restart the gadgets, I restart and all is well for about 12 hours or less. What? It is not like the limits the system I'm running a Intel i7 720 clocked at 1.6 GHz (2.8 GHz SpeedBoost measure) 6 GB of DDR3 RAM, 500GB HDD 7200rpm ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5870 (1GB of GDDR5 memory) never had this problem before, but now all the sudden he did that. My office is doing the same thing. (Core 2 Quad 2.6 GHz, 8 GB of DDR3, 2 x 750GB HDD, ATI Radeon 4870 1GB GDDR5 680W PSU) Could it be a free update from Microsoft and has not been a solution for gadgets? I also tried to run the gadgets in the sidebar in 32-bit mode, and dosn't seem to matter, is blocked. (I'm back to 64 bits from the gadget only supports 64-bit SpeedBoost and I know that my speedboosting i7. Thank you for all your help.
I read a Article somewhere (forgot where) that if UAC is disabled, then this gadget off and frozen. UAC is disabled? If so, try turning to see if it eliminates the problem. (UAC User Account Control is, by the way)
