I looked everywhere but I can not find an answer, can someone give me a simple tutorial on how and tell me what to do

Why is my laptop running so slow ...? Is it because ...?

The specifications of my laptop are: - Intel Core 2 Duo T5500 processor at 1.66 GHz - RAM 1 GB - 100 GB Hard Drive - 12.1 "Widescreen - DVD ± RW - Vista Home Premium Windows Sidebar gadgets I have with these: - EBay Auction Tools - - time - Sticky notes players radio - YouTube Player - Internet TV have antispyware programs installed and running as follows: - CounterSpy - SpyBot - Avira Antivirus - a-squared Anti-Malware I do not have many music files in my library, however, only a few albums, and I did not even play. No, I have many documents, etc. yet. (Portable some new) When I open Explorer, it sometimes takes sooooo long to load ... and freezes a lot ... It's really annoying ... What could be the cause? What is the Recovery (D:) drive and I can get Windows 7 Home Edition?

Two questions: First, I have a HP netbook Mini 210 at Christmas. Red. Never had my own little gadget before, so I'm excited about it. I looked around for fun to see how much RAM you have, etc., and there seems to be much in the recovery (D:) Hard ... 2.4GB 16.6GB other ... What the hell is there much more space? Not much on my netbook yet, as I only had a week ... Second, the netbook comes with Windows 7 Starter Edition. What Starter Edition and how it compares with Windows 7 Home Edition? My netbook enough to keep Windows 7 Home Edition? The Starter Edition seems to have lost much of what I like ...

How can I get my gadgets back on my Windows 7 computer?

I am unable to put my gadgets back on my desktop, because the gadget gallery will not open. I have also tried going into the file folder for them, and dragging it straight out of there, but it tells me that I need administrator permissions to move or edit the file (which I do have), and when I press continue, I am told that it could not do it. Anyone know how I can get gadgets on my desktop agian?

I know this sounds simple but have you tried to click the "show desktop" icon at the far right on the task bar at the bottom of the screen? Had the same problem with W7 when I first tried the gadgets, clicking it hides whatever gadgets you have running, good luck..

Can anyone direct em to a program that can display the above three programs of food resources at this time?

There was a gadget Windows Sidebar that but I'm on XP and do not want one of these programs in the sidebar to imitate. The program I wish I had a small window, I can put in the corner looking at any time

The Task Manager application that comes with Windows does a good job of showing running applications and resource use. But there is a better team implementation of Sysinternals (Microsoft bought them, so they are now official MS applications). They are also free, so you can not beat 'em. The new task manager called Process Explorer. It will show not only the CPU and memory, but tons of other information about using the system and application. I'll put a link in the sources so you can find. Note: No installation necesssary to use it. Just download and run the program. You can also select an option to replace the application default tasks of leadership with Process Explorer (such as when you press Ctrl + alt + del, for example). If you do this make sure you do not move the program by pressing Ctrl + Alt + Del will try to run it from there.

Windows Sidebar and Gadgets in XP
I just installed VISTA...help ?

I just installed Windows VISTA business edition. Before I did if I right clicked on the net, say on a picture or on text I wanted to copy no problem. Now I right click and the same menu comes up but when I go to left click...NOTHING. Also with XP I had option at the top while surfing the net. Options I don't have anymore. Like I could search a web page for certain text I know should be there. Now I have to do such searches the hard way because those options vanished. I see why people hate Vista but if someone can help I need to stay with it. My fiancee is from Hong Kong & I need the Translator gadget I now have in the sidebar almost daily. Not all the online translates work good but it seems the gadget does decent translations into chinese simplified so please don't just say "re-install windows xp." Thanks.

you have to download it like from google (would show a link but doing this on my iPhone). Anyways they still selling vista thought they only sell windows 7?
