Personally, I'd prefer a higher heel, especially since your outfit is conservative and you'd want an accessory to be a bit of a wow-factor. Out of your choices, I like the 2nd one the best in the navy color. Which dress would you choose?

Which two out of all these dresses would you choose? I'm not asking for opinions on the dresses, I just want to know which two you would choose if you had to pick two.

you should definitely take the first because it's the prettiest! and i love no 3 and 5 and i really can't choose 1 between the two, so i think it depends on your body shape (mine would suit no 5 better, but i don't know about you) so good luck! it's really hard to choose

What is a good digital single lens reflex camera for a beginner? I don't plan to go professional or anything. I took a university class in photography that had me dealing with my dad's old film SLR and really loved it and got the hang of it..

Retro-crase is completely stupid. Obviously they've never been camera shopping.

You can get an Olympus E-520 with 2 different lenses for under $600. It's an excellent beginner's camera and it comes with a very impressive lens range for the price. The Olympus Evolt cameras are a little noiser than competitors but you can't beat the features for the price and the Zuiko lenses are very nice.

You can get a Rebel XSi for under $600 (only 1 lens). It's the older Rebel model but it's also great for beginners. The noise is excellent, even at ISO 1600 it beats out a lot of other similarly priced cameras.

I don't know much about Nikon but I saw a D-40 at Walmart for under $450 (1 lens) . It's not as impressive as the previous two I mentioned but Nikon is a top-notch brand.

Remember: Refurbished means it has to work exactly like new. You can save a lot of money by buying a refurbished camera and it will be every bit as good as a new one out of the box. Refurbished does not mean used or old; it just means it was returned for one reason or another and has been brought up to proper specs to be sold again.

How can I connect my netbook to the Internet?

I just got a Samsung Netbook as a gift and need to know how to access the Internet. I am new to this and I do not want to spend a fortune on equipment, so profitable and easy would be appreciated! If you Any suggestions on what portable hard drives are good and cheap to add that too. I want to transfer some games on my desk in my netbook.

Your netbook is equipped with a wireless network card. This allows you to connect to wireless Internet signals that are sent by the wireless routers. These routers are in many public places (such as coffee shops and library and advertised as "wifi" or "WiFi hotspot"). You want to click the option wireless network (bottom right of the screen near the clock) and find a network name in the list, click it to connect to Internet. You can also buy a wireless router and connect it to your home Internet connection, allowing you to connect to wireless internet anywhere in your home. If none of this is confusing, take your netbook to a better understanding or similar somewhere. You should be very able to help you find ways to use the Internet and sell a wireless router. Oh, and if you want to transfer games to your desktop netbook, I recommend you make a record USB flash drive instead of a portable hard drive. Flash drives are much cheaper and much smaller. You can get 8 gigs should be (which is probably all you need to transfer all the games that exist) from Amazon.com for $ 15

Drinking white wine: tips & gadgets?

My dad's drink of choice -- almost exclusively -- is white wine. I am looking for Xmas gifts for him, so I'm hoping to buy him something to improve his white wine experience. He already has a top of the line corkscrew. Now I know nothing about white wine, always been a red wine sort of lass myself, but I know for red there are some "wine accessories", like aerators, that you can get fancy with.

You generally do not need to aerate white wine so something like that would not do him much good. If you have a lot of money to spend then you could get him a nice wine fridge. They have many different types, but they are basically like little college fridges usually with a clear front so you can see the bottles. My only other thought is a set of real nice wine glasses. Perhaps you could get some nice handmade crystal glasses or something like that.

As far as the wine preservation suggestion, those have all been tested and show to not do a single thing. They are a gimmick and anyone who is serious about their wine will know that.
