I agree with your concern: we have become very reliant on technology, and it is coming to a point where technology is taking over Western civilization (and other cultures who wants to be "up to speed" with things).

However, your last paragraph, with the prediction, strike me as odd. What evidence do you have that there will be a huge solar blast? And what evidence is there that the earth would "regenerate" if such an event occurs? Why assume the earth is eternal? Those claims strike me as quite unsubstantiated.

I predict mother-nature will end earth/life on earth. This has happened more than once. I wouldn’t say it’s lucky to live through such a hell. As we advance in computers, we have been making copies of a lot of things. Why have we not made copies of our DNA? We should find a life supported planet and begin life there before we have to start all over.
