What TV show 15 years ago had vests that could shoot bolts of energy from its center?
The show involving a teenager who accidentally traveled back in time through a portal of energy. Leads to another dimension where magic is banned and people are under the authority of these vests. The man finally gets wearing the vest and become an apprentice in the challenges the system. The show is broadcast or a network of children during the few hours after school, such as Fox networks dedicated to children. We loved this show when I was younger and wants to connect! Any ideas?

What Variety japanese TV show was Gackt and his band on?
In this show Gackt catches a fly with his own hand, brushes fake teeth, and gets made fun of by the way he eats. These may have happened in different episodes but these are some of the only things I can remember about the show. If anyone even has a guess about what Japanese Variety Show it is i'll be very grate full.

Night Man
Johnny Domino is a well-known San Franciscan jazz musician who is accidentally struck by lightning in a freak cable-car accident. The strike allows him to telepathically recognize evil but robs him of the ability to sleep. Although Night Man has no other superhuman powers on his own, he owns a special bulletproof bodysuit that gives him several abilities, including flight, holographic camouflage-style invisibility and advanced sight functions through the round red lens over his left eye including the ability to see in the dark and fire a laser beam. His arch nemesis was computer technologies billionaire Kieran Keyes (played by Kim Coates), who would slay Johnny’s father Frank Domanus in the premiere of the second and final season.
