what is this thing called..help?

ok so i have a new computer. i had all these cool gadets on my other one. now this one doesn'=[. i want my toolbox that is found on the side back!!. all i can decribe it as is it can have a cute notepad. clock. weather, currency, and other stuff.it is found on the side. i really need it back... well you can help me by telling me the name of it. or how to get(download) it. please help me
