My Gadgets on windows 7 will not work, and ive done everything i can think of... help?
i downloaded a few gadgets from the windows website, and now every time i start gadgets it freezes and stops working and will not respond. Ive already tried system restore and it didn't help.
1. Click on start and type regedit on search bar
2. Now navigate to follow registry key in left pan of registry editor
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionSidebarSettings
3. Right Click in right pan of registry editor to Create A New DWORD(32 Bit Value) with name “AllowElevatedProcess” and set value as “1”.
4. Now close registry editor
5. Right click on desktop and add desktop gadgets to confirm Desktop gadget and sidebar working properly

Heres a link to download the official alienware theme software. It completely modifies the way your windows 7 looks.
To download, click the 'download alienGUIse' option and enter your email id. Save '.exe' file and you're good to go.
Also, I'll have to warn you that the theme has had several annoying issues in the past and might slow down your system. Be careful

I have downloaded the keygen of sony vegas pro 10 in .zip file format. It is shown as malware by avast.?
Due to this it disturbs the view of my operating system's(Windows 7 Ultimate 32-bit) desktop gadgets. Some of the gadgets are not seeing to me. Please help me by giving me some suggestions.
hkeygen always show as malware, just disable ur anti virus. and then u can using that keygen.

Widget IAMP all, my favorite online radio station. Watches. I want a pair of clocks set to time zones I need. My AGS is the current digital LED Clock. Calendar showing month. I use the one included with Windows. Network Monitor. There are many out there, so no matter what. Time. Once more a Windows scheduled for the local climate.

Sorry for using the generic mtv generation slang but it is the most appropriate word for the general idea of turning my laptop into a object of amazement.
Basically i have a new laptop its not amazing but its HP something with i3 processor (windows 7).
Im not major on I.T but i still love gadgets etc.. i love software (free) like idump etc
anything that allows you to do awesome stuff or have fun.
what is your favourite freeware, tweek or crack (ill pay if i can afford it) , what does it do?

K-Lite Mega Codec Pack - Plays most video/audio files. I use it mainly for video files.
Winamp - Plays most audio files. This is my music player. You can get more themes for winamp on the internet
7-zip - My file compressor. Compresses to .7z, .zip, .bzip2, .gzip, .tar, .xz. Can uncompress most extensions including .exe, .rar, .iso (not all .iso files) and more.
Gimp - Free version of Adobe photoshop. Edits image files and can add some awesome effects.
Audacity - WAV audio editor (I'm sure there's a better program)
MediaCoder - Converts any video/audio file to any other formate.
ImgBurn - Burns CD image files like .iso and files and folders to disc.
Notepad2 - Better than the default txt editor.
MyDefrag - Defragments the system faster than the build-in one.
OpenOffice - Worse than MS Office 2007, but it's free at least.
Free Download Manager - Is and does what the name says. Also can increase download speed and resume some downloads if they were stopped or interrupted at some point.
All of the above programs are free.
